DEEDS POINT METROPARK

We went to Deeds MetroPark (park, again) last Tuesday, since abah has no class every Tuesday. This is the third park that we went to so far, after Riverscape and Island Metropark. It's fun being in the park on weekdays, esp for the kids, as not many people are there...so they can really have the place to themselves...and play to their heart's content!

FUN IN THE PARK

I've stopped updating my fp for quite some time now....don't know why....padahal hari2 visit other people's fps and also my sister's fp...simply lazy kot?
Here are some of the pix taken during our second visit to the same place (again) to Island Metropark ~ but this time around it's a bit different. Kids got the chance to ride their new bike/tricycle/scooter!!!
Actually we'd made the promise to buy them the bikes...so, it must be materialized!
Alhamdulillah, managed to buy these for them..and we're so happy to see their contented faces....

Island Metropark, Dayton OH

Sebenarnya plan nak pegi 'Wegerzyn Gardens' kat downtown, tapi tersesat and jumpa pulak this Island Metropark, so ni pun jadikla. Tapi memang cantik and hijau tempat nih...
Ada bike trail, picnic shelters, playground, etc kat sini...best jugak kalau ada bicycles for the kids...Nantila kalau ada rezeki, boleh beli and bwk the kids cycling kat sini.

Dah masuk spring...tapi tak jalan ke mana2 pun sgt, sebab as usual abah ada class everyday kecuali Friday, Sat & Sunday. And a lot of assignments and projects to be completed...! Jadinya, cuma keluar rumah gi kedai or jemput Alin kat sekolah jer la...

Dah janji nak bawak kids jalan-jalan....so kami pun pergi Columbus Zoo and Aquarium...lebih kurang 1 setengah jam dari Dayton. Kids memang excited, sebab bukan selalu pegi jalan jauh2 cam ni. Mama lagi excited, sebab dah plan nak pegi makan kat 'The Taste of Bali' Restaurant....sebabnya rindu sgt nak makan ala2 m'sian food kat kedai. Yelah, dulu kat Melaka selalu sangat gi makan kat Jusco food court or kat gerai2 sepanjang jalan Bukit Katil. So apalagi, my main aim was to eat out!!Lagipun, I deserve to get an off-day on my birthday!!
